My garden yields beautiful ginger flowers this season. I couldn't help but paint another beautiful ginger in an inanimate object.

  2. There is something about the contrast of a delicate flower springing up from sharp metal that is just timelessly pretty. I love it!

  5. Hi Ms. Melissa!
    I love seeing your pictures
your colors are special, I mean, the colors that you use to paint your artwork are "very yours"
I like the combination: inanimate object-"alive" objet.

  6. I like this series of Ginger plants in recycled containers. You really captured the metalic sheen of the aluminum can...nice job!

  10. Gosh, I'm really loving his series of the flowers juxtaposed with the recycled containers...really beautiful to look at, and they have a quiet environmental message.

  11. You definitely have a green thumb! And I agree, it really interesting the mix of living and non living / recycled elements!

  12. Well, it's only missing the smell - mind you I'd have to sneak into your garden at night to pinch one - I went up to a place just south of Macksville and North of kempsey - a place where it never ever rains :0 well almost!
