Illustration Friday: Obsession and Imperfect
This illustration applies to last weeks topic and this weeks. I am obsessed with collecting gorgeous old chairs. This is just a few that I use about the house. I love the imperfections of vintage chairs yet I love the perfection of the design.

    I love your chairs. When my husband and I moved into our house a few years ago we started off with one mis-matched dining room chair. This inspired us to buy all different chairs for our table, none of them matching. It's so fun to have such a variety, and all vintage! Love your chair collection. I should maybe draw mine, too!

    How efficient to combine the two prompts! I have an old swivel wooden chair at my drafting table that my grandfather had when he worked for the railroad. It's squeaky and not all that comfortable, but I wouldn't dream of replacing it. Great drawings.

    I have quite a few chairs too. I didn't realize there were other people like me. I especially like the chrome one on the end.

    Oh, I love your obsession, Melissa! I love vintage chairs too, but I love vintage tables even more...we'd be the *imperfect* perfect couple!

    Lovely collection - there are a few there that I would love to have. The drawing is excellent, you really get the sense of the patina from use and good care!
