Illustration Friday: Mesmerizing
For this illustration I was influenced by the book "Women who Run with the Wolves" by Clarissa Pinkola Estes and the mesmerizing effect a full moon can have on most of us. 

Wolf Rules For Life:
1.  Eat
2.  Rest
3.  Rove in between
4.  Render loyalty
5.  Love the children
6.  Cavil in moonlight
7.  Tune your ears
8.  Attend to the bones
9.  Make love
10. Howl often

    Great illustration! It looks so natural - like a wolf sitting and howling in a dress happens all the time :). I love the list too!

    ha, this perfectly fits the 10 rules as written above. I like the colors, soft tones, which are very well balanced.( as in your other work).




    You know, Ps is almighty:D
    But some stuff is also from Painter XI and some from pictures.

    That is one gorgeous wolfette. I like the fact that the icon on IF showed only the head and how this image really wowed me to see the rest of the body! :)

    To echo what another commenter said, I was really struck by how naturally the wolf's head and the woman's body blend together. Lovely and haunting.
