My preference is for the clean white background where the flowers seem so alive. But you don't have to decide. Ahh these are just dancing eh, the way you have lead our eyes through the work. yes I will go cream (I have milk in my coffee) as it harmonizes the design and reduces the stark clinical sense of the pure white. Reminds me of that sweet scene in the movie, "Tootsie" where Jessica Lange recalls her mother helping her pick the daisy and rosebud wallpaper in her bedroom.
